LIVING ROOM: BEFORE
AFTER
crazy right! this is the 3rd makeover from this beverly glen project. you can check out the first two here and here.
i love this condo! i've said this in every post about this project so far, but when a client lets you run wild and do "whatever", it is the best :) tommy rouse (my design partner), kris and i had a blast in here. the coffee table was the only piece of furniture that we had to work with. its modern, simple and did the job. however, if we had even $50 dollars, I would have purchased a new one. :) maybe something with a bit more glam! all in all, it was functional and worked in the space.
right when you walked into the living room you immediately felt happy! lindsay, the client, is a professional working gal who loves color! this accent wall really set the tone in the house and brought an edginess to the rest of the girly elements throughout the home.
sofa and chaise lounge // were custom made in a week from designer furniture resource in glendale, ca. i love this store! they have great staple pieces and seriously rock out any custom order in lightning speed. both the sofa and the chaise were made to order. the tufted sofa was such a last minute purchase and changed everything.
accent pillows // were from either anthropologie or home goods & our fun pink and deep purple throw blankets were from west elm!
art work // our client had some great prints purchased from one kings lane. we jumped on the opportunity to incorporate them into the main living space. they bring a playfulness to the living room that lindsay loved.
area rug // this kasbah wool rug is fab and i would just nap on it all day if i could! the pattern works with multiple styles; its comfy and warms up the room like an area rug should. if you want to jump on the kasbah bandwagon, go and purchase it here! :)
drapes // are also from west elm. we chose to go with the light soft grey to bring some "cool" into the room.
plant + floral vases // a majority of the vases were from west elm and all floral and plant arrangements were made from myself, through willow & jade.
accessories // amazing bronze terrain on the entry table was purchased from my ever so favorite lawson fenning and the lovely teeny frosted rose vases; hand blown from the netherlands, are from shop terrain. the different hues of rose colors were gorgeous against the deep teal wall.
side tables // this amazing kiln-dried, black ombre side table we purchased from cb2, unfortunately however, i do not think they are carrying them anymore. the salvaged table was designed by "One of A Finds" from wood reclaimed out of the waters of Nothern Ontario.
accent wall // we decided to keep all walls white in the main space, with the exception of our deep teal entry wall, called largo teal 742 from benjamin moore.
loved loved working on this space! it was a quick one and we are happy how it turned out. not bad for just under a few weeks.
